Health Care Ministry
Please join us on Monday, January 15th at 6:30 p.m. in our Sacred Hearts Hall for All for the launch of this new ministry. If you have any gifts to offer for this ministry in any way, we would love to have you join us. As you may know, we have been in the process of collecting as much information as we can by having a “Health Care Mass,” a “Health Care Survey,” a “Health Care Questionnaire Card” and by continually inviting those people we know who work in the field to be with us.
At this gathering, we will be brainstorming and planning ways in which we can implement this ministry in the near future. Your expertise in any of the health care fields will be greatly appreciated. We will set a vision and plan the journey with your dreams and talents for all those who will benefit from this ministry in the future. Please plan on being with us on Monday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. We will be deeply grateful for your participation! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Lani at ext. 111 or firstname.lastname@example.org or Dn. Amante at ext. --- or

Have you lost someone to suicide?
The journey through grief is never easy. Families and friends affected by a sudden violent death is especially traumatic. There is never “getting over it” however you can learn to live with what has happened and in time the intense pain subsides and some semblance of everyday life unfolds. Understanding and expressing these feelings helps survivors, and over time with the support of others, come to help and reconcile their loss. Our parish is pleased to be offering a 10 week program for those impacted by violent death through suicide, homicide, drunk driving or domestic violence. Our country experiences over 50,000 violent deaths annually, and from that there could be an additional ten to fifteen people connected to the victim who are significantly impacted by this loss.
This unique program uses the healing art of restorative retelling in a safe and Christ centered environment. The Journey is being run by trained facilitators Brenda Luna and Diana Saldana. Applicants must be interviewed before beginning the program to ensure readiness and commitment for this 10 week program. Our program begins on Sunday, January 14th from 3:00 to 5:00, followed by the 5:00 p.m. mass as a group and will end on Sunday, March 18th.
Please email Brenda Luna at email@example.com or call ext. 137 to apply or find out more about this program. We will be offering this program again later in 2018.
Who am I? Why am I here? We all grapple with these questions from time to time. This book is called “Perfectly Yourself” and it will help you find the answers to the questions so you can live the amazing life God created you to live.
