Welcome to Youth Ministry & Confirmation at Holy Name of Mary Parish!

Our youth ministry and Confirmation programs seek to create Disciples of Christ by drawing young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the faith community.  Youth ministry works to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person and to empower young people to transform the world by living and working for justice and peace.

Preparation for Confirmation is a initiation process rooted in comprehensive youth ministry.  It is essentially a part of a fuller youth ministry experience, not merely a means to an end.  This incredible gift of our faith grants us the Spirit and grace we receive when we were baptized, and allows us to take our relationship with God and our role within the community to a deeper level.  The process here at HNM is a two year interactive and comprehensive program with its foundation centered on the Eucharist celebrated at our Life Teen Mass, but also includes small and large group sessions, discussions, reflection, prayer, retreats, service opportunities, and social gatherings.
