Lectors

Are you a story-teller?  Do you love reading out loud to anyone who will listen?  Are you a public speaker, comfortable with speaking in front of large groups?  If this is you, God may be nudging at your heart right now to become a Lector.  We need ministers who can proclaim God’s word and live out the Gospel message!!  Would you like to join this beautiful ministry of proclaiming God’s words? 

HNM’s Lector Ministry invites you to be a part of this vibrant and important ministry of service.  We encourage anyone who is fully initiated (baptized, First Communion, and Confirmed) and has ever thought about becoming a lector at HNM to prayerfully consider participating in upcoming trainings this fall to potentially join this beautiful ministry. Lectors have the humble privilege of sharing our Catholic faith story during liturgies and in doing so, bringing the Word of God to life.  This is an exciting call and responsibility.
