How old is a "Young Adult"?
This is a common question we always get when people are interested in joining our ministry & events. Typically you'll see churches share "age ranges" like 18-35 or 39 years old. Well, at Holy Name of Mary, rather than focusing on a specific number we're going to describe it like this: You need to be 18+ and out of high school but where does it "cut off"? Some identify as a Millennial and that's cool! There's also Gen Z but not like the baby Gen Z's. Some feel like you're a mix like a "Zillennial". Regardless, we're going to put on events that cater to the different stages & interests we all uniquely have. Whether you're looking for socials, prayer, service, discussion. We have a mix of people starting college, graduate school, focusing on your profession/career, in a relationship, dating or those that have a beautiful family... We hope to see you soon!
Small Faith Communities
We're excited to share a new opportunity at Holy Name of Mary Parish especially for young adults - our Small Faith Communities.
These monthly gatherings are designed to help you grow in both friendship and faith alongside others who may be navigating similar life experiences. Our Young Adult Small Faith Community will be a relaxed and welcoming space where you can connect, share, and reflect together.
Each gathering will begin in fellowship, giving everyone time to get to know one another. We'll then spend time in intentional prayer with the Gospel for an upcoming Sunday - reading the passage, reflecting on it, sharing how God might be speaking to us through the Word, and resting together with God.
Whether you're looking to meet other young adults at Holy Name of Mary, grow deeper in your faith, or simply take a pause from the busyness of life, this is a great place to start. Come join us as we build meaningful relationships and support one another in our faith journeys.
Our Young Adult Small Faith Community will gather on the 1st Thursday of the Month at 6:00 pm.

Youth & Young Adult Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration is rooted in our Catholic faith for a moment to be with God. The term comes from the Latin adōrātiō, meaning "to give homage or worship to someone or something". We adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and the evening consists of worship, a guest speaker, and prayer.
