On the First Saturday of each month, Holy Name of Mary hosts a Healing Mass. The priest will do an anointing of the hands of those who with to come forward after Mass. All are Welcome!
This ongoing group meets each month and allows you to come and go whenever you need a little extra support with the ongoing challenges of grief. You are always welcome to come and just listen with never an expectation of participating or sharing. Our mission is to offer, with trained ministers, support and education through your grief journey.
Few events in life are as painful as the death of your spouse. Learning to cope with your grief and find continued meaning your life will be difficult, however, with this support group, we hope to give you practical ideas to help you mourn and go on to live well and love well again.
The journey through grief is never easy. Families and friends affected by a sudden and violent death is especially traumatic and complicated. There is never a “getting over it.” However, with help and support of others, you can begin to learn to live with what has happened. Our parish is pleased to offer a monthly grief support group for those impacted by violent death through an accident, suicide, homicide, drunk driving or domestic violence.
Appointments Preferred, Walk-Ins Welcomed! Schedule by visiting www.redcrossblood.org or on our Blood Donor App and enter sponsor code: HOLYNAMEOFMARY call 1-800-RED-CROSS
